Mr. Fox has a very good ear for dialogue and a very skilled way of painting the scene for his reader. You know the adage show don’t tell? Well, Mr. Fox does just that. He has created a world so vivid that one can see everything that is happening in their mind. I felt like I was watching a movie in my imagination while I was reading and was actually sad when I finished the last page, always a sign of a great book.
The characters in The Finder are all real, distinguished people who you feel and care about. You want to know what happens next and each one has their own voice and personality. The pacing of the book moves at a nice speed. It never felt slow or sluggish to me and the love scenes are hot as well as romantic; always a nice combination.

The sequel has been outlined and I've started writing it, but it has been slow going because of time limitations. Once it is written, the next step will be to see if sales of The Finder have been strong enough to win publication for the sequel.
